For a successful IT services startup with an annual revenue of approx. 20 M Euro, we are looking for a highly skilled addition with leadership qualities:
Chief Financial Officer (m/w/d)
Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Full-time. Starting July 2022.
The company has strong growth ambitions for the coming five years – and to turn those into reality, a qualified CFO is going to be instrumental. This results in a lot of responsibility, but with it comes the opportunity to make a real impact and to apply more competencies than just diligence and financial expertise. As in: You will get to actively shape the future trajectory of the business, with a lot of freedom and great potential for development, not just on paper.
Your tasks:

As a member of the management team, you will take leadership over finance and accounting

Proactively and vigorously manage financial performance to accelerate growth and control risk

Drive corporate fundraising: Raising capital, refinancing leases, ...

Oversee the creation of financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
-
Ensure competent, strategically sound budgeting and cashflow planning
-
Facilitate decision-making through meaningful financial analysis and forecasting
-
Collaborate on business plans for the development of new business segments and M&A
-
Implement and optimize internal processes for the finance unit (reporting, controlling, ...)
-
Act as a point of contact for administrative, legal and regulatory topics

Communicate and engage with tax advisors, auditors, investors and banks
What you bring to the table:

Multiple years of experience in senior management (e.g. CFO, VP Finance, Finance Director, Head of Finance) in the IT industry, or a successful career in auditing with relevant experience

A degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on finance, controlling, accounting – or a comparable qualification - In-depth knowledge of accounting and financial reporting based on HGB and IFRS

Extensive know-how in leading fundraising efforts and investor relations

A strong commercial and analytical mindset

An organized, self-responsible and driven work ethic

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a clear and structured manner

Fluency in German and English
